A mordant portrait of hope, longing, delusion and grief. A aged recluse listens to tape-recordings of his younger self, and records a new, possibly final, one.
MCLA was to originally present a remount of Chris McElroen's production of Beckett's "Waiting for Godot", as presented at both the Classical Theatre of Harlem and in New Orleans (see the archive page for that production elsewhere on the site), but the notoriously conservative Beckett estate objected to the idea of our having set/presented the play in post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans, and refused Christopher the rights. He asked me to produce a production of KLT in it's place. I assumed the pseudonym "Honor Nola" in reference to the refusal.
